With a little help from my friends

It has been so long since I’ve been on the (weight loss) wagon that I’ve forgotten what colour the seats were. Or what a bumpy right it is, for that matter. And I always get nervous about making grand declarations (drama? me? never!), but I am putting my foot down. Sticking my stake in the sand. Mixing my metaphors like there is no tomorrow:
I ate too much yesterday, but I LOGGED it.
I didn’t work out, but I OWN it.
I ate crap for breakfast but I HAVE a PLAN.
I have a yummy bean salad for lunch. Tonight, I make smoothie packs and pack yogurt, fruit, and granola to keep at the office. Tomorrow, physio, and a plan to get back to my bike.
Hold on to your hats, folks – I’m not just back on the wagon, I am TAKING the REINS and GOING PLACES. YEEEHAAAWWW!
This post is brought to you by some really great friends who, knowingly or not, have buoyed me up over the past few days. Oh, and maybe a day at Stampede

You go girl! Don’t sweat the set backs just stand back up and go. You can do it!
Thanks Chantal! Yesterday seemed like one great big setback, and it was only day one. It was the reminders of all the support out there that has made me come back swingin’
Awesome awesome awesome. We are here for you!
Thanks Donna! You have been a huge help already. I didn’t realize how much I needed to just talk about this stuff, IRL (or almost IRL). Looking forward to our walk.
YEEEEEHAW!!!! Giddy up Girl
Love this, and regardless love ya
Thanks Katie. You’re awesome
Way to go!
And I am right there with you. Have gained 10 (!) pounds since going back to work in Feb. Jumped back on the WW wagon last Thursday. Feeling great so far. We can keep each other going!
Woo hoo! The more the merrier! I just challenged Sara to a one day log-a-thon. You in? Just logging everything tomorrow, good, bad, or ugly.
Looking forward to hearing more about your ‘rides’!
Deb
*grin* Be careful what you wish for
Can you drag my sorry ass up there with you?
Honey, the imprint of your boot is still on my ass – and one good kick deserves another.
A challenge: log tomorrow. Good, bad, or ugly: log it all and I’ll do the same. You in?
PS. I feel like I should be adding some trash talk here. Pansy-ass? Will that do?
